West Village's unique brand identity reflects Newcastle's vibrant urban culture, rich industrial heritage, and stunning natural surroundings. To capture the essence of these key elements, I thoughtfully curated a colour palette that embodies the city's diverse facets. This cohesive concept is also reflected in the logo, which seamlessly blends the surf and skate aesthetic with an on-trend, alternative typeface.
As a development without any existing photography, CGIs, or display suite, I sourced contemporary illustrations of people to showcase West Village's offerings. By incorporating these visuals into the brand identity, it adds a humanistic element that allows viewers to connect emotionally with the project. Not only did this help to build excitement and anticipation, but it also enabled St Hillier's to begin the teaser campaign earlier, gaining valuable insights into the market.
